4 pounds beef tri-tip roast
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup honey
1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup onion -- minced
1/8 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 garlic cloves -- crushed, up to 4
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine all ingredients marinade ingredients, and allow
to simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Baste meat with this
marinade while grilling and use extra as a dipping sauce when serving.
